Hans StockerParticipantI must confess Keelin that I had to look several times, but then the portrait comes through. Now I can’t unsee this Portrait Of Dismay anymore. Very nice. The portrait-ed one must have thought Billy Bluegoat, what are you up to?
Maybe I spotted a little friend of Billy caught in the act of some mischief himself.

Piglet with his own modest contribution to fight the drought of this summer in France.

Hans StockerParticipantThank you very much for compliments Laurence. I am indeed – like you say – mightily pleased with the the photo publication in the new calendar, but I am as much honoured with your kind comment!

Hans StockerParticipantWhat a great series this is Michael. Thanks for sharing this way. Despite the unpleasant circumstances of the Arizona monsoon season it enables you to capture these very beautiful pictures of which it is hard to choose a favorite, for they are all favorites. Nevertheless, the one on the gallery (posted October 4 2018) is still outstanding. I suppose we unfortunately have to wait for more after next monsoon season has afflicted your senses once more?
Hans StockerParticipantStill Tuning Up Here shows some very nice jazz Keelin. Love it! And B Fat Blues by Michael as well.

Some Tenderly Colored Notes
Hans StockerParticipantAnd thus Volume XII is started by Michael, as magnificent as Volume XI is ended by Keelin. I hope indeed Strange Wonders Await!

Cloudy Washboard
Hans StockerParticipantComing week I will be looking for more cloudy music elsewhere. For now another one from the series of Soft Clouds.

What’s That Jazz
Hans StockerParticipantVery nice halo indeed Keelin.
Next picture shows what happened later on the same occasion when clouds had moved and changed. Obviously with a little help of Lightroom, but the colors were really there.

What Happened Next
Hans StockerParticipant
Some distant planes seem to cross a sundog.
Hans StockerParticipantMichael, after you have checked the works of Todd Hido you will notice next one is quite different.

On The Edge
Hans StockerParticipantFantastic music you make with Crescendo, Keelin and I really had to laugh reading the title. Ingenious!

Strange Chords

Hans StockerParticipantLaurence, I guess Kay Gallwey-Chand asked for these pictures recently. Her monotype of the spectacle with the redbows is a few days ago published on the homepage.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful redbows.
Hans
Hans StockerParticipantOn my recent journey to Jupiter for spotting clouds (…) I captured this nebula on my way. No help from NASA was needed.

Hans StockerParticipantBecoming Something Else seems to loose its skin Keelin. Intriguing.
First time I heard of Todd Hido and looking up his work I understand the comparison with #177 (indeed a very fine picture Michael). Todd Hido turns out to have a very special signature and he definitely has a special relationship with everything foggy. Thanks for naming him Keelin. Love to scroll through his portfolio. It inspires.

Can’t resist to keep close again
Hans StockerParticipantOne can see the foam blown off on ‘The Wind Off The Waves’, Keelin.
Further on there is this

Waterfall
Hans StockerParticipantArizona B&W#177 is like seen through a curtain….
