I like your picture of the so-called eyebrows. I agree with Jocelyn on that classification all be it an unofficial one. Nice video you found about the phenomenon. All examples here are lenticularis shaped and in my opinion they also seem to have the outlines of what asperitas looks like. About the heights that are assumed to be near I think waves in the air can be further away from heights than you might think. And waves of air are needed for lenticularis to form in the right conditions.
Unfortunately there is no official name yet for these eyebrows. Maybe Gavin Pretor Pinney succeeds also in getting this one officially accepted by the WMO?

Except that there is less contrail during the lockdown – and by consequence less pollution – there is no difference in behavior of winds and clouds with before. Like Meryl I am curious about the videos you made to see what makes you wonder.
Did you know lenticularis clouds can stay at the same place? It might be applicable since you live near mountain sides. Here is a video that was presented on the CAS site some years ago that illustrates it well. In the lee of a mountainside wave clouds occur and in the right conditions a hovering UFO will be there staying in place.
Hello Jocelyn, I do it much the same as Michael described. But your wishes made me (re)think about my own way of doing it. So here are some more thoughts about it.
Your wish to tag pictures triggered me to do some research and therefore I checked the possibilities of Google Photos. Unfortunately I only found features to tag people in Google Photos. So there seems to be no possibility to tag a picture as pileus, sunset, mammatus, asperitas or whatever cloud classification. Please correct me when I am wrong. Nevertheless it is a safe way to store your pictures, since the cloud protects you against loss by a bushfire. When tagging is possible this seems the perfect fit to your wishes.
For the tagging and organizing your pictures Lightroom has the possibility to define your own keywords for any picture. Lightroom is not only a tool to develop and modify pictures but also a tool to organize your pictures. Finding an example of KH in your own collection will be easy when the pictures have their right keywords. In the case of LR an external backup device still is necessary to protect your pictures against loss in case of a calamity.

I agree with Keelin on Arizona B&W#167 Michael. It is a magical one for sure. It must have been amazing to see that one emerge in your lightroom. The Realm Of Clouds it is.
On the former one Keelin stated that her celestial orchestra was not ready yet but I think different. It is pure and perfect jazz in B&W and sounds like my favorites.
