Hans, for the record I am getting an error ‘Cant reach this page’ for your link. I tried F5 refresh (Windows 10).
Somewhat relevant to this topic, perhaps, the environment agency in South Wales (UK) said on TV today that a flooding river was flowing at 900 tons of water per second (sic).
P.S. Hans, did I miss an introduction to your thumbnail photo companion? Looks about the same size as a Great Dane I once knew.

Hants much the same as Lincs except for a mid morning half hour. First I went to the North because that conifer slightly to left of centre is now named Keats (q.v. in Forum). I was lucky to get this shot as my trusty Nikon DSLR refused to take any more pictures (too low a light???).
So then I went to the South. Happy New Year to one and all, and thanks to CAS.

Thank you for your illuminating thoughts, Keelin, beautifully illustrated, I think undulatus is an interesting suggestion for barred – Wiki does not mention it as far as I can see, so perhaps you can work it into their words (assuming one can update a Wiki article).
For the casual reader, you can link to the ICA from the second, fixed topic in this forum and search ‘undulatus’
I can see the Winchester clouds above my local tree line (as in my recent topic ‘Magic Moments’ (pileus)) – there is a conifer which I will think of as Keats henceforth. Undulatus is not common round here but I can recall two major undulatus events since I joined CAS on 26JAN2007.
