Patricia L KeelinParticipantIt looks like the sun had some fun with those waves, Hans!
Just Ahead Of The Fog
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFormidable mountains and fine texture in your images above, Hans. And all the more interesting when scale is left to one’s imagination.
Drift
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMeanwhile, an even bigger breath is being sought as hope for a better future goes out to all endangered.
Beneath The Floe
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAnd they will be watching you!

Patricia L KeelinParticipantLove those sweet cloud confections you have there, Hans. Ah, now if I were just light enough…
Sky Bridge
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks for sharing the magical moment of a unicorn spotting, Davy. They are a rare breed indeed.
And Hans, I have no doubt the aliens will be seeking you out to continue their story. They are an adventurous lot and I suspect will have no trouble spotting you across the pond.
Meanwhile, the image below tells a different story…
Polar Bear Coming Up For Air
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow, Michael! Your latest here are almost otherworldly in a way that draws me in and doesn’t let go — especially #842.
Once converted to B&W, the image below seemed to take on a rather menacing feel, as if it belongs in a story by Poe.
Where’ve You Been?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantDelicious delights indeed, Hans!

Patricia L KeelinParticipantThe color is so subtle in Foreboding, Hans. It is a very intriguing photo. And I’m glad you had your own watchful eye on your next posted image. A gorgeous shot!
Below shows only a section of the most vivid 22˚ halo I’ve seen to date. It captured my attention for quite some time as the clouds danced around it.
Halo Cloud Dance
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThe sky looks even softer in your #308, Michael. Love the feel of it and the subtle colors.
And danke je for kind comments, Hans. As to your most recent here, Neurotic Neurons is a most fitting title and possibly a match for my state when I see certain cloud formations. It then takes a breath or two to calm down.
Becalmed
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA clever and very discernible Y, Hans! Contrail with CVI could make a unique and fun type font. This A seems almost too basic.
Easy A
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWonderful wildness in #641, Michael. And a fine contrast in your next image with such precise looking placement of tiny cloud bits. In Hans’s following image, it could be the same sky with Wind coming into play. Here, below, a bit of order restored.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantA lovely image, Hans. And the graininess adds a fine texture ~~ all the feeling of relaxing by the sea with nothing more to do than watch seagulls soar.
Below, it’s as if the clouds were trying their best to merge both feathers and waves into a memorable montage.
Dark Feathered Waves
Patricia L KeelinParticipantRemember that alien fellow (six images up) who appeared riveted by whatever he was seeing outside his window? Apparently, that wasn’t the end of the story.
…and then he phoned his friend.
Hello?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a gorgeous image is your Streaming Lights, Hans. Like a fading memory I would wish to never lose. I wonder, do you see a similarity to Gerhard Richter’s blurred portraits? Your image has the same haunting, evocative feel for me.
The image below is from a series that included the Halo/CHA recently shown on the Gallery. But in this original, the car window was up at that moment and caught an unfortunate reflection. Alas, cropping was required to eliminate the distraction.
