ParticipantOne might wonder…
How Tall IS a Cloud Goose?

ParticipantNice captures, Michael. I especially like the landscape feel of #312.
This one was a big surprise…

ParticipantVery interesting, Michael! I’ll keep my eyes on the skies and see if I spot any purple sunsets. And now I wonder, do you think there might also be a color difference in sunrises as well?
Patricia L Keelin
ParticipantThank you, Hans! And you’ve captured a smile to savor there. Love that little beauty mark of a comma in the corner too.
Now why do I get the feeling there may be a party going on behind these clouds?

Here’s a rather quiet one…

ParticipantHope you all have a fun vacation, Hans, and frisky Flo finds something not-too-precious to free along the way.

ParticipantGlad to hear you put safety first, Michael. Undoubtedly the wiser approach is sometimes retreat! And you’ve captured a beautiful cloud collage above, a lovely study in blues.
Below, another shot from last week’s display of Cirrocumulus here.

ParticipantWow, Michael, an amazing shot! I smile to imagine you with camera held steadily aloft, the thought of an umbrella nowhere in mind. Nothing dramatic going on here, so really appreciate your sharing monsoon images with us.

ParticipantSorry to hear about downloading woes, and thanks to you both for warnings. I’m an absolute snail when it comes to upgrading systems and programs as so often they come with disruptive surprises. Hope the problem resolves quickly for you, Hans, and you have an enjoyable vacation in the meantime.
And yes, indeed, it’s hard to miss the cloud dog in Kenyon’s painting, and can’t imagine it would go unnoticed by the artist himself. As for puppy mischief, funny how they can look perfectly innocent even when evidence is stuck to their fur.

ParticipantThose waves look playful, Hans. The kind I like to feel tickling my toes at the edge of the ocean. A little further out, it can a different story. Or a short story…

ParticipantNicely subdued peachy glow in your AZ #703, Michael. And Wings has got to be a favorite, Hans. Love the fleeting movement and also the twin flyers at the top.
A Touch Of Cirro

ParticipantNice subtle grays yet plenty of definition in No Black, No White, Hans, and in the images that follow from you, Michael. In fact Michael’s last one made my eyes open wide as I’d just just seen a sky with fleeting Cirrocumulus (and friends) above my own noggin. What an unexpected treat!

ParticipantThank you for posting this link, Laurence. Indeed, a beautiful display of noctilucence. And welcome back to the forum! Looking forward to seeing more from you again.
