Glimpse
Next one puzzles me a bit. I took this picture in a split second while distracted by my cat who wanted to do dangerous things by climbing out the window I was hanging out. I just thought it was iridescence but later I saw the regular pattern of colors with reds up and blues low. No CZA for sure for it was too low. It still might be iridescence but a small segment of a 22 degrees halo is also possible for it is taken with 400 mm. Wish I had more peace at the moment I spotted this to check the circumstances better. When the cat left the colors were also left.

When I pictured next one I had no idea yet but later it seemed to me a roll cloud in the sunset. Or maybe not? Please correct me when I am wrong.

Ruth, It is such a strange scenery you captured with this Man in Bucket Waiting For The Sun. What is going on there? I suppose and hope a warm Duet will chase the cold for the Man in Bucket.
Thanks for liking my Blue Hour, Ruth and Keelin. I did not notice Billy myself in The Blue Hour Keelin, but once seen….. Anyway the blues in the clouds were amazing on that evening. Here is another one.
Fluffy And Blue
You spotted a marvelous cap cloud Donatella. Love it, coloring in the sunset. Moist stable air is forced upward to pass the mountain, condenses while cooling when it gets higher and evaporates when the air descends on the other side of the mountain. This way the cap cloud reveals the flow of he air around the mountain. It is the same way pileus develops but that has to be on top of a (cumulus) cloud.

Scattered and A Curling Event are marvelous Ruth. Love the shadowing and depth on the first and the gentle waves on the second.
Cloudlandia and Ghosts of Autumn Leaves are so different and equally appealing Keelin. I love epecially the cascade and movement in Ghosts of Autumn Leaves.
Michael comes up with two wavy structures in blue that remind me of quietly swimming blue whales.
Earth, Water, Air
With Subconscious Tendencies the recent dream-theme had a perfect dénouement. One with a mysterious feel imo.
