Patricia L KeelinParticipantAh, danke je, Hans, for sharing in the fun and anticipation of what’s to come in this topic of wonders.
And you’ve captured exactly what I looked like in An Amazed Face after tilting my head while gazing at this unusual cloud shape…

Low and behold (and with a twist and a tweak of contrast), guess who’s there! If it isn’t our old friend…. looking like his mischievous self and as if he’s been cavorting through rainbows.
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThank you, Michael and Hans. Can’t wait to see what surprises are in store for us here in this new volume.
Love the sleek look of those saucers, Michael, and the smooth sweep of that Big Wipe, Hans.
And now for a little texture…
Sheer Shearing
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhatever they were thinking in there, Richard, it looks like it was pretty exciting!
There’s thinking, of course, and then there’s dreaming. And sometimes those dreams take flight! See Clouds That Look Like Things, Volume V for the continuing story.
Wild Horse Dreams
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSo many new beauties here from Hans, Ruth, and Michael since I last posted to this topic back in May. I continue to revisit many of them, taking more than a moment to breathe in the beauty of each one. And I thank you all for adding a sweet serenity to those intentional pauses in my day. Finally caught this lovely sunset yesterday evening.
Sunset Bloom
Patricia L KeelinParticipantGreat patterns in your latest photos, Michael and Richard.
Floccus In Bloom
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMichael, love the dance moves of those soft, wispy clouds in #112, and the variety of moods in your latest three.
And Ruth, that looks like a gentle start to the day there.
Today we’ve had an influx of floccus, pretty much covering the entire sky at times.
Fields Of Floccus
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth! Hope the skies soon clear for you there. The extreme heat makes everyone so nervous these days. I’m with you (and Wanda!) wishing to jump into something cooler.
Richard, I can see a dragon forming in your Smoke Signals. Is someone dreaming him up?
Pileus Dreams(the B&W image above is color reversed from the original)
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHans, I love that sweep of clouds, dark to light in Ominous and that hint of color in Before Sunset. Beautiful.
Richard, I feel as if I can see for miles in your Willamette Valley view, and
your latest is simply grand.Ruth, no surprise your Heading Home was added to the Gallery. I can almost feel the quiet there. Hope you made it to shelter before your latest one let loose!
Donnatella, your Cloudscapes is like a splendid and magical sneak peek at a city of clouds beyond our normal view.
Over the past couple of days, we’ve finally seen some clouds roll in!
Long Awaited Arrival
Patricia L KeelinParticipantIndeed there are beauties aplenty from many above, including your latest, Hans. Spilled Milk looks as if it’s still in motion. And congratulations on your sunset shot from Charigny being chosen as Thursday’s Cloud of the Day. Oh la la!

Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks for that bit of fun, Laurence. And yes, even someone with their head in the clouds can still score 5/5! ;)
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA beautiful breeze in #210, Michael! Maybe that’s what shepherded in this surprise yesterday.
A Small And Welcomed Flock of Floccus
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThank you for posting the link, Laurence! Lovely images brightening the night skies. I especially like the one above the moors.
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSweet little Seahorse, Ruth. Gotta love that curled tail.
And both interpretations have appeal in your photo, Richard, with the black and white working well for either one.

Cleopatra’s Barge
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMicheal, can you blow some of those lovely clouds this way? It has been nothing but blue skies here for days.
And nice one, Richard! Perfectly placed to catch a summer’s breeze!
The Fickle Winds Of Fate
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAnd what a beautiful show you’ve captured there, Hans! Love that sweep of subtle colors. As for blocked views during performances, sometimes the attendees aren’t quite so tall.
