Patricia L KeelinParticipantGreat sense of depth in the latest posts from everyone above. The sky’s been a bit quiet here lately. Had to look back a couple of weeks ago to find this one. As I recall, there was a skyful of action with clouds literally consuming each other.
Room For One More Bite
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSalil, your Red Dragon is mesmerizing! You have captured him well and in dramatic fashion.
And Ruth, your Gentle Elephant is just so sweet, sailing softly there on a little cloud. Could that have been his wish? What would you wish if a genie appeared?
Aladdin’s Lamp
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA great variety in recent posts from all. Especially love the wispiness in White Stripes, Hans. That sliver of brightness in Just A Splash, Ruth. And the skyful that feels like a celebration in #124, Michael.
Tendrils
Patricia L KeelinParticipantLove the crispness and composition you’re achieving in your photos, Richard. And the long, evocative (and as Hans noted, rather poetic) titles as well.
A Lot Of Cloud indeed, Hans. In fact, I almost missed that subtle opening in the upper right corner. Once seen, it has a curiously magnetic draw.
I feel the same pull to explore in your Track and Field photo, Ruth. Hope this one fits…
Puzzle Piece
Patricia L KeelinParticipantCan’t help but see a funny-faced creature emerging in #196, Michael. Something rather charming in his looks.
Perhaps he has the kind of thumb that would make a fine print like you’ve captured, Ruth.
And a wonderful rough contour in Outlines, Hans. Elemental and aesthetic!
Cloud Support
Patricia L KeelinParticipantRoadrunner better keep running, Hans. Looks like Wiley Coyote is hot on his trail with a little help from… could that be Woodstock?!?
He went that-a-way!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA beautiful launch for Volume V, Hans and Ruth! I think this calls for a bit of the bubbly…
Effervescent Apparition
Patricia L KeelinParticipantOn a warm day, I’ve gone back to view your Popsicle, Ruth. Thanks for the refreshing treat! Wasn’t sure it would still be there with that mystery animal about to devour it. And Barely There might be subtle, but still brings a smile. Also want to say WOW! on your double rainbow in the Gallery today — Congratulations! I had a feeling that was yours even before spotting the credit. It has your signature style.
And so glad you enjoyed the kiddie matinee, Hans! If the show was anything like your Looking Into The Sun, I’d stay for another viewing. It is mesmerizing.
Heading back to the archives again for a photo I’d cropped differently and posted to the B&W topic awhile back. Here it is with the color that caught my eye.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantThat’s some serious looking Dragon’s Breath, Richard! Looks like it might have frightened your cute little Snowshoe Hare, Ruth. And apparently he’s not the only one hoping (or hopping) to escape…
PS: Congratulations, Richard, on your artistic desert sky Cloud of the Day!

Swimming As Fast As I Can
Patricia L KeelinParticipantLove that wild sky, Michael! Can I add some more turbulence just for fun?

Patricia L KeelinParticipantRuth, your Curtain Call is a lovely apparition. I hope the temperatures have cooled down for you there. Michael, there is something fun about #120 with that little cloud floating along so loftily. And Hans, Fading Pattern has the relaxed feeling of a contented sigh… ah~~~~~~.
Lake Of Sky
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA sensuous, rosy launch, Hans. And followed by Ruth’s honey-colored glow and Michael’s gentle blush on blue, this is a beautiful start to Volume VIII.
Morning Has Broken
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMagic matched with the spectacular specter you’ve captured, Richard! And your idea of seeing clouds as think tank emanations has great appeal. Who knows what will the sky will come up with next?
And Hans, you’ve found it! The spirit of Dodo — a wonder to behold! In fact, what you’ve got there quite resembles some of the anatomical illustrations in one of my favorite books: Dodo: A Brief History by Errol Fuller. Lovely!
Still, how sad that some creatures have gone the way of that sweet odd bird. Here’s another that roams only the skies now too.

Sauntering Stegosaurus
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSo pretty are the pinks you’ve captured, Michael. And it looks like it’s already time to put volume VII to bed. What a collection gathered here! I must confess to returning for another sip of Ruth’s Wine In The Water; Michael’s #702 & 719; and Hans’s Purples and Mirrored, but along the way, I re-enjoy each and everyone’s contributions. Many thanks to everyone: Ruth, Hans, Michael, Gregory, Sheryl, Philip, Donatella, Hygge.
Can’t wait to see what morning brings.
Nighty-Night
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Michael! I’d ever seen the clouds so rough-looking. Your #192 is more like something I could enjoy the warm comfort of. Love the subtle form there, as if something is nestled beneath (or I suppose that would actually be above) the covering.
