Thanks for explaining Michael. To me it seems to be a rather labor-intensive process of development you have chosen, but I certainly like the result.
I love this composition Keelin with your feathered friend waiting in front of this dark and threatening sky. Your picture tells a story.
The noise works very well with this corona you captured Keelin. Wonders all over.
Next one is no halo or rainbow and even shows no clouds.
Setting Moon and Venus
This morning I spotted next one which reminded me of the straight lines of altocumulus (a friend 0f) Lynda spotted.
For to long no waves. Don’t let us be mislead. No ruffled contrail feathers but Crosscurrents. A strikingly perfect fitting title for the scenery you captured Keelin.
One Approaching Wave
The blues in Arizona Cloudscape #73 …… Restful, peaceful, beautiful.
In a former picture Keelin wrote about the noise giving the picture a special texture. Here is one that I took at sunset and the reality was quite gray. To my surprise a simple standard enhancement gave it all of a sudden soft colors and forms showed up in the clouds very clearly. The toll to be payed was the accompanying noise. Still nice to share I think.
Noisy Asperitas
What a mighty sight Michael, cacti against a background of a towering cumuli. I like the blues you managed to develop in the sky very much. And so I like the tender hues and the freshness in Morning Glory by Keelin above. Indeed it makes for a splendid start to the day at the moment I open the forum for new surprises.
Lenticular Chaos
Welcome Lynda. Did my eyes betray me or did I see some minutes ago your question how to submit a picture to the gallery? I suppose you found out already and edited the reply? So did I on my turn.
