Ruth QuistParticipantLisa, I am also a new cloud spotter. I did live in Vermont, fabulous state. You will find a wealth of information on the forums by very nice and knowledgeable people. Looking at my Cloud Selector it appears that you have seen Contrail which is man made clouds in the water of aircraft. I only know about five cloud types in my short time as a CAS member. Enjoy as much as I have.

Ruth QuistParticipantJocelyn, thanks so much for your feedback on my sunset. I probably stood outside for 15 minutes in cool temps to capture all the breath taking colors that were happening. They ranged from bold colors to pastels. Truly exciting to witness. I have enjoyed going back to view Sunset and Sunrise Vol IV.

Months ago I would take photos of what I thought were interesting shapes, sizes, and colors. Now there is so much more that can influence a good picture. I look forward to sharing more on the way fun forums.
