Patricia L KeelinParticipant
Like Some Distant Moonlit Shore
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFrom painterly to otherworldly, extraordinary images, Michael!
Here’s a rather quiet one…
The Sound Of One Wing Flapping?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHope you all have a fun vacation, Hans, and frisky Flo finds something not-too-precious to free along the way.
Another Day, Another Pillow!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantGlad to hear you put safety first, Michael. Undoubtedly the wiser approach is sometimes retreat! And you’ve captured a beautiful cloud collage above, a lovely study in blues.
Below, another shot from last week’s display of Cirrocumulus here.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow, Michael, an amazing shot! I smile to imagine you with camera held steadily aloft, the thought of an umbrella nowhere in mind. Nothing dramatic going on here, so really appreciate your sharing monsoon images with us.
Below, a soft cloud with a bit of highlight at twilight.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantSorry to hear about downloading woes, and thanks to you both for warnings. I’m an absolute snail when it comes to upgrading systems and programs as so often they come with disruptive surprises. Hope the problem resolves quickly for you, Hans, and you have an enjoyable vacation in the meantime.
And yes, indeed, it’s hard to miss the cloud dog in Kenyon’s painting, and can’t imagine it would go unnoticed by the artist himself. As for puppy mischief, funny how they can look perfectly innocent even when evidence is stuck to their fur.

A Meeting Of Like Minds
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThose waves look playful, Hans. The kind I like to feel tickling my toes at the edge of the ocean. A little further out, it can a different story. Or a short story…
Unsurfable
Patricia L KeelinParticipantNicely subdued peachy glow in your AZ #703, Michael. And Wings has got to be a favorite, Hans. Love the fleeting movement and also the twin flyers at the top.
A Touch Of Cirro
Patricia L KeelinParticipantNice subtle grays yet plenty of definition in No Black, No White, Hans, and in the images that follow from you, Michael. In fact Michael’s last one made my eyes open wide as I’d just just seen a sky with fleeting Cirrocumulus (and friends) above my own noggin. What an unexpected treat!

Patricia L KeelinParticipantThank you for posting this link, Laurence. Indeed, a beautiful display of noctilucence. And welcome back to the forum! Looking forward to seeing more from you again.
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMichael, is #701 taken with your new camera? The definition is amazing! You’ve really captured the feeling of these magnificent clouds.
Below, the sky displays a completely different mood.

PS: Hans, congratulations on your Cirrocumulus with sundog selected as Cloud Of The Month!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThat ragged toothy Grin is giving me a giggle, Hans. Love it!
As for Woodstock at 50, there’s a mind leap of word play required for that one. Here’s a hint: Although it’s hard to image a cartoon character aging, even Peanuts grow old at some point. I imagine you’ll enjoy the sky-wide grin of an aha! moment in a moment, but let me know if I should I post a reveal.
Meanwhile, a different bit of mischief below with a puppy and (what’s left of) a pillow.
Fido Frees The Feathers
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Hans. Indeed, cloudspotting seems to have a way of untethering the mind in the most delightful and surprising ways. Trippy even!
Woodstock at 50?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThe last several images here are gorgeous! I keep returning to favorites of Arizona Sunset #421 and #422 by Michael, and Hans’s most recent in between them. Again, I’m reminded of The Little Prince who could watch endless sunsets on his tiny planet simply by strolling (as opposed to scrolling). And perhaps because of this reference, I now see a purple rose in the image below. After several days with very few clouds here, yesterday closed with this brilliant surprise.
