Hans StockerParticipantThank you George for your kind words. It may be funny that I am not aware of a certain style myself but it is really nice when you recognize something the like. It might be easier to recognize it for someone else? I suppose you also will recognize pictures by Michael or Keelin? I do and I mentioned their recognizable signature before in several threads.
The Sunday cloud picture is already on the gallery (June 4, 2019) but maybe next one is also interesting. A wider shot of the cloud formation in b&w that I posted in the Black & White Thread XIII:
Hans StockerParticipantThank you Keelin. And you have a good memory. Indeed I used one of the series moth eaten fingers in the Black & White Thread XIII.
I was some time away and without internet facilities except for what I can see on my phone. Every day surprises on the Forum! To begin with the surprises you posted in this thread. First a Moonlit Griffin and then You Are Here. You Are Here is brilliant. I had to think a bit at first sight ( I have to admit) but then the picture points it out itself. And I don´t need to look out of my window to get Spellbound watching your last one. Even more fantastic! It is also an enchanting composition. A bit creepy alien ready for battle, but his look in wonder softens it all. Love it!

Hans StockerParticipantGeorge, I forgot to point out how many noctilucent spottings there were last night in the Cloudspotter app. The real cloudspotters were alert around here! Just check yourself. Some of them are really nice.
Hans StockerParticipantHello George,
Thanks. I took the picture at midnight and that time answers already a bit of your first question. Not many people notice them or it must be the ones that are looking after them. The media give them some attention when their presence is predicted but I have to explain everybody what they are.
Norway in August they can be spotted for sure and Atoptics.co.uk says they might show up from mid May until mid August . So fingers crossed for you. I hope you will spot some.
Hans StockerParticipant
Taken at yesterday’s Asperitas event over here. A strange edge is there above the horizon.
Hans StockerParticipant
Noctilucent was visible all over the Netherlands and Belgium last night. A wonderful and rare sight.

Today’s Asperitas
Hans StockerParticipantYes Michael, it are the last minutes in which colors change very rapidly. Always fascinating to watch.

Hans StockerParticipant
Mackerel Texture
Hans StockerParticipant
With some enhancement the nature of this cloud formation was unmistakable.
Hans StockerParticipantSpectacular colors behind that plane, Hygge.

Hans StockerParticipantIridescent Overture is a beauty Keelin!
Hans StockerParticipantOuch Keelin, I almost felt the pinch. Very funny though.
Pileus time! Is the monsoon already starting Michael?

Something Hovering
Hans StockerParticipantArizona Asperita #219 is a very subtle one Michael.
I used one of the same series before as a flying mustache.

But It Is Asperitas
