ParticipantThank you, Hans! You just never know who is up there until you look up there! Be that as it may, I’m not sure about the photo below. Looks to me like it could be either Einstein (who has dropped his chalk in a moment of brilliant insight) or Beethoven (whose baton has slipped his grip). Only a moment or two later, as is the way of clouds, either/or became neither/nor. Perhaps they are both on their way across the pond?

ParticipantWow x 6 for all the above! Love each one for both individual and overlapping reasons. After the two most recent crispy servings, I have only this to offer…
A Freshly Harvested Bundle Of Billowed Wisps

ParticipantA mysterious and cleverly titled scene you’ve captured in Code Talkers, Ruth. The dark woods in the foreground add a fine bit of intrigue.
Skydive has an expansive, euphoric feeling, Hans. And Michael, #926 is an ode to the joy of free movement up there. While we’re all fairly grounded these days, it’s good to know the clouds are not so restricted.
Going Somewhere

ParticipantOopsie! Tinker Bell has fallen into the Sea where her wings are melting. But worry not! Magical creature that she is, she is having no trouble morphing into a mermaid.

ParticipantThanks, Gregory! And who’s to say that’s not an Arrowfish? When it comes to clouds, the untethered mind is well encouraged here, as evidenced by all those who enjoy posting to this fanciful topic.
Below, the photo has been color-inverted to bring the ‘Night’s Merry Wanderer’ more visibly out to play. That said, it is still all cloud, no mischief, just pure merriment.

ParticipantA warm welcome to you, Steve! Glad you’ve joined us and hope to see you often here and on other forum topics as well. Love the open feeling, like a breath of fresh air, the photo you’ve shared delivers. Just what’s needed when we’re all indoors more often than usual.
And George, thank you for yet another exciting time-lapse! Such a fun peek through the clouds at the layer beyond.
The photo below, taken about a month ago, has the look of how it felt when I stepped outside early this morning.
Frosty!

ParticipantSuch wonderful variety in this thread. Especially love the drama in Hans’s Rain And Wind and the color in Michael’s Hail.

ParticipantLovely Heart, Ruth! And here’s a little something to go with it…
A Wink & A Smile

ParticipantHans, your Glimpse is deliciously mysterious. Although I’ve not seen horseshoe on a California menu, I wouldn’t be surprised to find a single green bean plated at some overly fancy restaurants. And yes, let us continue with this feast of B&W images. I doubt we shall ever be sated. Here’s a dash of this and a pinch of that to toss in.
An Old Family Recipe

ParticipantA warm welcome to you, Ying! That is a remarkable scene you’re captured. I can’t imagine that ominous cloud be any closer to the ground. Did you manage to stay dry?
And a warm welcome back to you, Gregory! So nice to have you posting here again and to the other topics as well. Grey Swirls is a lovely reintroduction to your photographic eye.
Nice minimalist approach in your #701, Michael. In a funny way, it reminds me California Cuisine. Love the cloud cube in #702 and the whole structure of that image. It is a favorite.
Final Flinging

ParticipantMichael, that’s a gorgeous photo. You have really mastered the eye of the art.

ParticipantYour Deer On The Move fits well with the season, Ruth. Below, a winged traveler stops by a favorite watering hole along the flock’s migration route.
Little Duck, Big Pond

ParticipantA fine collection of color and clouds above! Love the blue-greys in your #920, Michael, and the impression of clouds resting like a blanket in Moody Blues, Ruth.
To answer your question, Hans: yes, I did know about 23 being a prime number, but about Fibonacci? Not so much! The internet is full of such wondrous enlightenments. Your Fluffy And Blue would make a nice dream pillow. Below, perhaps a not-so-distant relative?
Cloud Cousin

ParticipantSpeaking of cloud safaris, Ruth, I suppose that would be one way to still see some creatures like this favorite. Gone, but never forgotten…

ParticipantLet The Light Shine On indeed, Hans, and thank you for the perfect transition and launch of Volume XVII! Let’s all give it a whirl.
