ParticipantHans, I love that sweep of clouds, dark to light in Ominous and that hint of color in Before Sunset. Beautiful.
Richard, I feel as if I can see for miles in your Willamette Valley view, and
your latest is simply grand.Ruth, no surprise your Heading Home was added to the Gallery. I can almost feel the quiet there. Hope you made it to shelter before your latest one let loose!
Donnatella, your Cloudscapes is like a splendid and magical sneak peek at a city of clouds beyond our normal view.
Over the past couple of days, we’ve finally seen some clouds roll in!

ParticipantIndeed there are beauties aplenty from many above, including your latest, Hans. Spilled Milk looks as if it’s still in motion. And congratulations on your sunset shot from Charigny being chosen as Thursday’s Cloud of the Day. Oh la la!

ParticipantThanks for that bit of fun, Laurence. And yes, even someone with their head in the clouds can still score 5/5! ;)

ParticipantA beautiful breeze in #210, Michael! Maybe that’s what shepherded in this surprise yesterday.

ParticipantThank you for posting the link, Laurence! Lovely images brightening the night skies. I especially like the one above the moors.

ParticipantSweet little Seahorse, Ruth. Gotta love that curled tail.
And both interpretations have appeal in your photo, Richard, with the black and white working well for either one.

ParticipantMicheal, can you blow some of those lovely clouds this way? It has been nothing but blue skies here for days.
And nice one, Richard! Perfectly placed to catch a summer’s breeze!

ParticipantAnd what a beautiful show you’ve captured there, Hans! Love that sweep of subtle colors. As for blocked views during performances, sometimes the attendees aren’t quite so tall.

ParticipantLove your wonderful sea creatures, Richard! Indeed, there is a lot for our imaginations to play with up there, sometimes even in the spaces in between the clouds.
I’m not sure what to make of this one below. Focusing on the negative space, my first thought was: Oh no, not another vacuum attachment! (There’s a photo of what looks like a duster brush attachment posted almost exactly year ago.) But then it turned into a conical, dark hat worn by a blue-eyed goat. Could it be our friend Billy, Hans? Looking a little coy there.
…Or A Blue-Eyed Billy?

ParticipantOh what fun are all the above! Whatever order there may be, it likely won’t last long considering the whimsical way of clouds. Here are a couple to add to the messy mischief…

It gives me shivers of delight and anticipation. What was in the midst of forming?! I don’t know if I should get up and dance or hide under the covers!

ParticipantWhat a fine finale that was for Vol. X with the tumbling fun of Michael’s last two photos, Ruth’s delicious Morning Soup, and a Sea Of Clouds from Hans (<– I’d like to dive into that one with no need to hold my breath, even though it took my breath away).
Thanks for the launch to Vol XI, Michael. I can see we’re already off to another great start.
On the day of wind shenanigans featured below, Aeolus put everything on an angle—even my hair. /:)

ParticipantNoctilucent clouds and the Sea — that’s like icing on the cake, Hans! Hope you are treated to several servings.
I like the colorful story your latest cloud tells, Ruth. I wonder how it ends? Perhaps it is a saga that will go on and on to the delight of all audiences far and wide.
