Well Keelin. I did wonder indeed, but eventually the face appeared and I thought how is it possible I had to look for it first. Very nice. And now he seems to be a friendly version of the violent white orc from the Lord Of The Rings. Or even a cloudy version of cubistic art! I hope pareidolia is harmless….

As to the practical point about accessing the forum remember to first login and whenever you go to another page (for example the forum) and find yourself logged out so you can’t post a reply then do a refresh of the page. This seems to help.
Don: what is your secret of this cloud hanging above you. Did Berndhaut Smilde pay you a visit and told you how to make one of your own? Fantastic! I would also like one above me.
This all made me remember “The man who measures the clouds” who I once saw on a exhibition of work by Jean Fabre. I have a picture of my own but with a background of a BBS so I use one from the internet.

In homage to his dead twin brother Emile Fabre, the artist Jean Fabre attempts to measure the immeasurable: the clouds. This action, which led to the famous bronze sculpture, is based on a quote from the prisoner and ornithologist Robert Stroud after his release: ‘I’m going to measure the clouds’.
Thanks Laurence for extra attention for this spectacular light show. It shows halos I didn’t know they existed. It helps that on the Atoptics sites all of them are named clearly.

As to the use of the Forum it is like Michael explained. You already discovered there are some topics for specific themes (B&W, Colour, … e.a., just check for more). To add something to that it is good to know that we use the rule of thumb to start a next volume whenever a specific topic reaches the number of 100 posts no matter who starts a next one with the next volume number for that topic. And to emphasize what Michael wrote: no constraints, just fun and the parameter is “Clouds”. We all love to share the fruits of our camera’s the gallery isn’t able to bear (so to speak). So let’s continue and amaze each other.

Don, it seems not to be only you who pushes a bit on the boundaries. Quite some daredevils you spotted dancing on clouds, or should I say spidermen? Marvelous!
I like this topic you started. Moonlit Antimaccassars is already very surprising. I will keep my eyes open from now on because my archive will not contain many pictures that might fit.
Yet I found after some digging next cloudy sky spotted in a museum for glass and art (or vice versa), France 2016. No umbrella needed inside?

I understand your point Neils, but luckily it did not withhold you from posting this very nice dragon. Without the comparison with a dragon this is already a very fine picture and composition. Thinking about your point of view I accept every cloud as it is, but sometimes they try to disguise a bit and play with our fantasies.
