The amended date is fine by me – in the diary. A daytime conference makes much more sense and gives us the option to continue, socially, into the evening, perhaps. Hope lots of Cloud Appreciators will be able to make it.

Hi Helen, I have fond memories of a visit to Albany in 1972! My Dad cleared land and farmed near Denmark in the 30s/40s before joining the Australian army in WW2. Wonderful part of the world…….

Mike, I hope you have received my email sent to your new address. I got yours, with the photo attached – it’s now printed out (looks great) and is with the framer as I write! Again, many thanks.

I could certainly live with the middle one of this B&W trio on my wall! B&W lends clouds and the skies they inhabit such a meditative quality. Thanks, as ever.

I have accepted the invitation to join the Cloud Forum Moderators Group, Gavin, and have been trying to find it on the CAS website/Forum with no luck. Am I being very dense (probably) or is there a particular route I need to go to find it?

Wow! Looks like this idea’s a runner, Gavin! And I was delighted to see that there’s going to be a Cloud Conference later in the year – it will be great to get to meet some other cloud enthusiasts (aka cloud ‘nuts’) and hopefully some of the regular Forum contributors might be able to attend too.

Lucky you, Mike, that you could experience this at first hand: lucky us that you have shared them with us – many thanks – wonderful images.

Thank you, Gavin – I have accepted, with pleasure! And thank you for the badge – another talking point with which I hope to snare the interest of curious acquaintances and get them looking skywards.

Hey, Mike – nice to see you on the new Forum! And as ever, posting a wonderful image.
Hope you have a photographically phabulus 2015 (and I hope we get to see lots of images here).

Very happy to carry on being a general moderator – but I’m only doing it for the badge, you understand!! I’m a slightly intermittent visitor to the Forum these days, though I hope to be more present during the coming year, so I hope some of the other Moderators will continue to keep an eye on things as well. The Forum has generally been a place entertaining and erudite observations and conversations – long may it continue to be so.

Happy New Year – Happy New Forum
