Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantAlthough this is not really a contrail, I did not know where to put this so I put it in here because it’s a cloud made by a plane :)
The plane crossed a cloud then seemed to drag the cloud down with it making these nice condensation trails!

Sorry for the poor quality

Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantGreat shot Keelin! Is that a sundog in the top by any chance?
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantA powerful storm has been sweeping across europe for the past week… Ripping out trees and blowing down walls. The wind remains but the clouds seemed to have cleared up!
I really like this picture because you can see the storm cloud that was above us followed by another powerful one in the distance, with the moon watching!

Some more pics…

P.S
anyone else use windy.com?
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipant

A powerful storm coming from the pacific is what can be seen in the first, and the second picture is from the top of the Cascade Mountains :)
I hope you like them!
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantA beautiful morning above Seattle!

The clouds were quite strange, it was sunny then a few miles later, it was pouring!
Seattle being strange :)
Sorry about the reflections in the glass
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantI didn’t know which topic to put this in, but as I was driving by the airport, I saw this plane taking off and forming some clouds with it’s wings. I don’t know if it’s just an effect of if the wings are really making clouds, but either way, I find it quite beautiful and intriguing!

Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipant

I find contrails fascinating, especially when they have just formed and are unraveling from the plane engines!
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipant
A nice sunset in the Pacific NorthWest. Last night, a cloud formed over this mountain. I am not an expert but I believe it may be a Lenticularis cloud. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Sorry about the plane that was in the way
I hope you like it :)
Can you guess which mountain this is?
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantAn Isololated StratoCumulus (I believe) above Nebraska, USA.

Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipant
A sunset seen from above the Northern Atlantic.
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantThank you so much to everyone who identified it!
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantHello!
I shot this picture in Iceland (In July), and I think it’s a Pileus, however, I am not sure.

Is this a Pileus or something else?
Thank You!
Alvar Jolin-LombardiniParticipantHello,
I took this picture yesterday during the Seattle thunderstorm.
I am not sure what type this is, as I am a beginner, but my best guess is that it is a Volutus? Or maybe a Cumulus?

Thank you!
