Michael LerchParticipantThank you Hans ! Actually that photo looks the best here! weird! Its even more subtle at full size due to getting “lighter” at a larger size.

Michael LerchParticipantThanks for the kind words keelin. A late afternoon sun it was. Nice shot of the wind swept!

Michael LerchParticipantHans,,A similar type cloud can be seen in my photo #750. The texture of the clouds, takes away from the upside down tossing and turning of the Asperitas. So your photo belongs in Asperitas imho.. And yes, an incredible Asperitas event Dec 3rd 2019 traversed overhead very low. Seemed I could almost hear it. Lasted maybe 15 minutes and I didn’t catch it from the beginning. It was a softly lit Asperitas Undulatus event.

Michael LerchParticipantRuth, yes, sometimes I pay little heed to saturation levels especially when taking a large photo down to sizes here,,the colors get denser. But both photos are rich to start with.

Michael LerchParticipantThanks Keelin for your kind words. Clouds really do lend to the emotional impact of a perception since they are of so little tangible reality. How one feels ,or is emotionally impacted ,when seeing a cloud or a cloud photo is just as real to the person as anything. Texture, contrast and movement seem to help creating the impact. Your baby brought an Aww!
