A sunset over Mount Rainier

Mount Rainier’s shadow being cast onto the clouds above makes it look like it is erupting. The dramatic light effect was spotted over Washington, US.

    Looks like smoke coming out of a large tipee.

    The sun doesn’t set on Mt. Rainer. This most likely was a sunrise.

    I agree – It’s a sunRISE photo for the reason stated by Karen and that in the mid-ground is the low morning mist/cloud that would not exist of an evening. Exceptionally unusual if it did! PC
