It is well worth going to see , the most visited place in the whole of France! , now you have to really do some walking to see it , no more cars there as the causeway was in danger of sinking. We did a 9 km organised walk to get to it , across the Baie , it one point the water was up to my daughters chest , but we had lifeguards on the walk with us. we arrived there really wet through which meant we did not have time to walk up to the top of it.
A beautiful picture, makes me want to see it in person. The contrast between the hill with the buildings and the sky with the lovely white clouds is fantastic.
