Herman Folmer, member 46462, created this painting in 1997 and told us “The tiny little town of Motovun in Croatia appears each bright autumn morning as an island in a sea of low stratus which gradually dissipates as the sun climbs higher. I made this painting in 1997, as I could observe this phenomenon each morning from the window of my hotel in Motovun”.
