    Michael, a big wow on your AZ contrail.  I have to mention to all I saw a CVI yesterday, ran in the house for a camera and she was gone.  Still made my day.

    I am uncertain about this capture.  I will take a stab at a partial 22 degree halo.  Any thoughts from my cloud spotter buddies?

    Robert, your photos are definitely exciting.  I am fairly new to cloud spotting myself.  I would take a guess that your recent clouds maybe cirrus.  If you haven’t already purchased ” The Cloud Collector’s Handbook by Gavin, it is a great and constant recourse for me.  I bought my copy on Amazon for around $13.  The cloud library on this website is dandy too.  Keep them pictures coming.  You will meet some fun folks that are witty and knowledgeable.

    Hans, you are correct about the best place to watch a crescent moon.  They can be sneaky.  Your passer-by is a super shot of virga I believe.

    Keelin, Beyond Recognition is got everything going for it.  That’s a keeper.

    Michael, #231 is fun to figure out.  What type of cloud would you say?
