ParticipantYour Crescendo hits all the right notes, Hans. It’s a beauty! Below, in all the excitement, I almost missed the sliver of moon and the little winged one.
Oh There They Are!

ParticipantGorgeous images, Michael and Hans! I especially love the watery feel of the two sunsets above.
Here’s a little wink with some long skylashes.

ParticipantWelcome back, Hans! And thank you for seeing and saying what can nevermore be unseen or unsaid. In fact, the elegant horned creature did not emerge for me at all until you pointed him out! And then he reminded me of another favorite (below) who appears to be on this side of the pond again.
As for Grumpy. He is such a surprise, I could not help but laugh aloud.

ParticipantLove the softness in your flock of Lenticularis, Michael. The ones below surprised me with their silver linings.

ParticipantLovely, George, a complete arc! And that would make TWO pots of gold, yes? You were at least twice as lucky as I’ve ever been to catch both ends of such a vivid rainbow. Still, I can’t complain when there’s a bit of iridescence to be found.

ParticipantHow fun to see the cloud creatures you’ve captured in the skies above Vacaville, Mischa! Back in March of last year, I spotted a similar Simba at play here in Napa. One might enjoy the whimsical notion of it chasing that little cloud puff across the sky in your direction for all these months in between our sightings, morphing a bit as clouds always do along the way.

ParticipantThank you, Hans and Michael, for all the above. Such beautifully captured cloud formations, each one with its own personality, each one deserving applause. I’d like to be one of those birds on the wire!

ParticipantAs usual, your photos above are fine examples of working ALL the tones, Michael. It’s interesting to see the effects of contrast tweaking. My iPhone 5s images tend to suffer from unintended noise, but sometimes, I end up liking what emerges enough to forgive it.

ParticipantThe lightness (in feeling) of the darkness (in clouds) in your #155 is quite intriguing, Michael.

ParticipantIs that a shy smile of Asperitas in your #153?
Patricia L Keelin
ParticipantAn astute insight, Michael! No telling where Here might have ended up and even less a guess as to what it might look like at this point.
And Now?

ParticipantThank you, Michael. Love these shots like your #152 with such dynamic movements in them. In the image below, my eye keeps zeroing in on that odd circle in the center, unnoticed until I converted to B&W.
