Patricia L KeelinParticipantRuth, can you send your Saucers over here? I love how you caught that gentle light and soft blue below their hovering features. Beautiful!
And Hans, your Crown is a glorious celebration!

Soft Clouds Late In The Day
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWatery is a visual poem, Hans, Peaches in the Morning is delicious, Ruth, and Arizona #163 has an en-chant-ing quality, Michael. Wonderful works, all!

Little Fish, Big Pond
Patricia L KeelinParticipantLove the clouds ready to catch the moon should she lose her footing in #156, Michael.
And what a fine cloud-catching mirror your lake makes, Ruth.
Hans, I love the subtle blush you’ve captured there. Was it because the sky caught you looking at it—again?

Blue-Grey Palette
Patricia L KeelinParticipantYou’re so right, Michael, about never knowing what will show up. And what a wild skyscape in #237! Might that be where Hans’s Crawling creature emerged from to make those (footprint?) holes in Ruth’s sky? I’m starting to get the Halloween heebie jeebies here!

My! My! What Have We Here?
PS: I see Billy was the star of Cloud of the Day today, Sunday 8 October, 2023. He certainly does get around for an old goat.
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAmazing arrow, Ariel! Seems to be plenty of pointy things to watch out for in the sky. Good thing your wonderful Mad Pig looks to be a fast runner, Ruth!

Pipefish
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAh, I didn’t realize we’d reached the 100 mark in Volume XXII! But I see now, there was a beauty posted by Ruth even after. Definitely worth traveling back to catch her Black plus White equals Gray. It looks like the sky is raining light both near and far.
And on we go with XXIII with a fabulous—and humorous—start! Legs and wings… and does everyone see the pretty girl in Michael’s #232?

Another Study in Greys
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow, nice work, everyone!

Colorado Cloudscape
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFabulous color, Tony, and it looks like you caught it at the perfect moment.
Ariel, what a keen eye you have—and great luck in catching that delicate, zinging CZA.
Love the soft glow in Stay Tuned, Hans—and the very funny and appropriate title. ;)

Bubbling Brew
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHans, Charcoal On Light Background is a work of fine art!
Ruth, your Layered Look reminds me Fall fashions with that fleecy top. So looking forward to the coming change of season.
Michael, great movement and definition in your latest two.

Improvisation
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Michael. I must say Halo Dancer is wonderfully mysterious. Has she risen from the sea? The image is captivating.
Ariel, I love those hazy days and the subtle halos we’ve learned to spot!
Ah, Ruth, you caught that one! And surely there are more to come with the approaching season.
Those with an eye for pareidolia might find Aeolus in profile below, on the left blowing out a curl of cloud.

Aeolus at Work — or is it Play?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantNot sure about goats in general, Ruth, but glad Billy comes out to play once in a while. I suspect your cat might be hanging out with him from time to time.
And now for something completely different…

Victorian Flirting Accessory
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSo refreshing on cloudless summer days to see the gorgeous captures from you all. Last month, we had this reminder of penmanship practice. Pretty much had a blank slate since then.

Cursive Cloudscript
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHans, you had me laughing with your clever response and hilarious interpretation. And I think you nailed it—which makes me wonder: Could that fellow’s glasses be atop his very own noggin? I’ve been there, done that on occasion. Or were they borrowed by the clownish ghost with the big nose and the smile Ruth spotted hovering above? And might that even be the same ghost you caught dressed up in iridescent disguise? A beauty of an outfit!
Speaking of seeing things, Ruth, you have a keen eye to have caught that sweet Splash of Color. It’s always a thrill, isn’t it, no matter the size.

Underlined
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFrom home on the range to home in the fens, beautiful photos, Ruth and Philip.
Here’s another glimpse of some of that wild Colorado weather.

Light in the Distance
Patricia L KeelinParticipantNice work, you two. Michal, that’s some action in #261. The B&W format captures the drama perfectly.
Love your crow vortex chain, Ruth. What a fun capture with that whimsical smile at the top. As for that long haired gal you referred to a few posts back, I think she’s still in the chair going for The Layered Look.
