ParticipantLots of exciting images have been shared here since I was last able to contribute to the topic. Love the variations! And funny how some contrails seem to do a clean line dance while others sway and swirl with wild abandon. Gorgeous golden color in your last one, Hans!
I don’t see many trails here lately, but this morning, there was this small segment.
The Bottom Line

ParticipantMichael, I see your cute cumulus chick hopped over to the Gallery. Congratulations!
The creature below was so startling in definition when I first saw him that I did a double-take. The original photo has only been cropped and contrast pushed just a bit to draw him out from the background. I only wish I could hear what he appears so eager to say.
Have You Heard The One About The…

ParticipantAh, thanks, Ruth! And so true about the joy of sharing what we’re so fortunate to see with others. In More Hide And Seek, I like the way you’ve used the trees in the foreground to block the sun, revealing the subtle beauty of clouds in the background.
And Hans, what a fantastic iridescent undulatus photo you’ve captured (featured on gallery). It is pure magic!

ParticipantPS: Beautiful photo of your Montana Lenticularis on the Gallery, Ruth. Twins!!

ParticipantSplendid studies in black & white, Ruth and Michael! Especially like your Mystery cloud, Ruth, and the choreography of your #1911, Michael. Gotta love those Lennys too. Haven’t see them around these parts in quite some time, so happy to find them hovering here.
Into The Grinder!

ParticipantNice pattern there, Michael. Reminds me of light dancing on water.

ParticipantYou’re so right, Michael. This thread is full of whimsical, story-inspiring, other-worldly fun. A virtual Palace of Pareidolic Pleasure! To my eye, A Bird Perhaps? looks like a little chick cloud-maker using its breath to peep a tiny cloud into being.
Richard, a lovely winged creature you’ve captured there. Like you, I see a flying fish, plus a hint of dragon fly as well.
Today, in celebration of World Octopus Day, this wee one would like to join the thread.

ParticipantRuth, saw your corona over Bigfork, Montana on the Gallery. Gorgeous!!
Iridescent Chameleon

ParticipantLove the soft, peachy blush in Which Way Home, Ruth. Those tiny treetops add scale to that Montana’s famous big sky.
And Michael, your latest foursome are impressive. Those are clouds that always catch my eye, but rarely do I get such good photos from them.
Tuesday Afternoon

ParticipantIndeed, Hans, the detail in A Fine Grid is exceptional! Fantastic clarity there.
And I love the happy wiggle in #1906, Michael. Makes me wanna dance.
Ruth, I can almost feel the fresh breeze and warm sun breaking through in Open Up The Windows.
This shot is such a tiny detail of the original photo that it’s taken on the look of a monochrome watercolor. Unfortunately, all the water is in the artwork, none on the ground here.

ParticipantOh WOW x 6, Hans and Ruth! Love soft tones in your CZA, Hans. And Rainbow and Water is simply stunning, Ruth.
Not many clouds here at all lately, but just this morning, there was this sighting. A mysterious bit of blue sky appeared to be…

ParticipantSome Rain, Some Shine, is a beautiful photo, Hans, and it delivers a big smile if not moisture to the dry lands here.
So happy to hear you had some rain up there, Ruth. Love the long view in A Big Gulp. Down here, we’re still waiting for a sip. We could use…
A Big Squeeze

ParticipantMichael, love the movement in your latest two. #1904 has a swirl that reminds me of the dance of Aurora Borealis.
And Hans, once I read your clever caption to Watch Your Steps…, I couldn’t help but see a little witch being cautious about getting out there on a spirited dance floor.
Stepping Carefully

ParticipantBojangles is inspiring, Ruth. Makes me wanna get up and dance too! And love those hot Elephants and the dogs/bull, Hans. Plus clever titles from the both of you.
This cloud snail takes it all at a more leisurely pace…
