ParticipantWhat a beautiful beginning to Volume II, Hans! And an upcoming front sounds definitely auspicious. I imagine you are already ready for it.
And indeed, the perfect parhelic Michael left us with on Volume I is worth a revisit with its lovely swirl of clouds above and below. Clearly a winner.
More thrills to come for certain now that we’re Launched!

ParticipantExtraordinary captures, Hans! Lucky for us you are quick enough to catch these fleeting doggies. In the image below, some little cloud spirit appears to be dancing above the halo.

Participant‘Another Cavity’ is deep with mystery, Hans. Perhaps this Faerie With A Torchlight can encourage us to explore?

ParticipantLove the undulations of Asperitas at either end of the day. Not so gentle looking is the image below. While the earth stood still, the sky appeared to shimmy to the music of the spheres.

ParticipantDank je, Hans, for kind words and the beauty of waves returning. Above and below the surface, they move through all the seasons.

ParticipantA fine balance and brilliant study in contrast, Michael! Those silver tones you continue to create are most amazing.
And what mischief are you up to, Hans, with your Glowing Contrail? You have offered us a masterpiece worthy of Dali! I hope we will see more of these friendly figurals, especially that one in the upper right corner who appears to be casting some spell with her magic wand. I do wonder what she’s up to… I see she’s got the crocodile strolling upright, exiting stage left. Off to cross the pond perhaps?
Presto!

ParticipantWow, Hans, what a BEAUTY! It reminds me of the rare piercing insight that comes when you least expect it. Your image above changed my breathing.
My own thoughts are sometimes somewhat twisty. Nevertheless, thank you for kind compliments!

ParticipantWow, Michael, you’ve captured the feeling of absolute elation! And Hans, that crisp golden glow is outstanding. I would like to hike along that illuminated ridge.
Just a bit of outline in the image below — a work in progress.

ParticipantAfterwards is like the memory of one my favorite dreams, Hans. It’s when the sand and waves of the sea begin to dissolve and I wake slowly in their wake.
In the image below, it’s like earlier in the dream when the waves trickle down lichen covered rocks on the shore.

ParticipantHiccough! was amusing and so well-titled, Hans, I just couldn’t resist a teasing reply. And I like to see how the passage of time is reflected in the Aging of Contrails. It is something to contemplate, nest-ce pas?

ParticipantWhat a grand finale we had to Sunrise/Sunset II with fantastic colors from Michael, George and Hans. Still feeling the warmth of those spectacular images. Now Michael has launched us again with no less a splash of color and awe.
George, I love these hot copper colors you’ve captured! And Hans’s cool waves of Asperitas follow just in time! The mention of lava sent me spelunking for this one.

ParticipantWhat a fantastic example of chiaroscuro, Hans. Beauty + mystery!
We are having much needed rain here today and everyone is happy. Well, everyone except the wild dancing Rain Goddess, whose necklace has broken and sent her pearls flying. I was just in time to catch sight of them through a nearby window.

ParticipantFar out, Hans! And a beautiful find in your archives. And Michael, I love the subtle vibrations in your Arizona B&W #55, and #65 positively animates!

ParticipantFantastic images, George and Hans! Interesting to notice how the eye is drawn to the light, no matter how thin the line or the volume of darkness that it outlines.
