Michael LerchParticipantyes, Hido likes the non-descript fog to play with the lighting. Juxtaposing the man made against the fog sets up for unfamiliar realities. Interesting. I like a bit more visual texture. Memories of the cool damp touch of fog have been invoked by Hido’s photos tho.

Michael LerchParticipantYes,on #177, a curtain of fine cloud . If memory serves me well, the foreground ( foresky) was a thin windblown veil from Virga. The suns rays, crepuscular like, broke through the clouds and illuminated the veil just right. Im not familiar with T Hido’s work so I ‘ll take a look and see what hes up to.. Meanwhile ,,
