Jiaran Chen, a regular contributor to our Cloud Gallery, sent us a painting depicting a wild view with clouds. We love the inspiration that can be drawn from the skies above us.
Jay Ryan, member 51,238, sent us “North Shore Clouds”, a painting in acrylic inspired by the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
Janet Seifert, an artist from Maryland, USA, is influenced by the beauty and wonder of clouds. These paintings, “Coast to Coast: Going & Coming/Coming & Going” are painted with acrylic on canvas and were inspired by journeys to and from the US West Coast, flying from daytime into the evening and from the evening into dawn.

Artist, Jackie Williams, has been painting with watercolour for some time now and in one of the last courses she attended they also painted clouds. She told us, “it was quite tricky to capture those ever-changing beings but real fun”.
This is a china painting from J Pridgeon of clouds over the only promontory in the south of Kuwait
J Pogalies from Madison, Ohio recently sent this example of her art and told us “I live on the shores of Lake Erie, a Great Lake! I photograph clouds and more almost daily. They are not altered except I then flip them or stack them to form new images and have them printed on large metal panels 1’x5’ up to 4’x5’“.

Haruko Greenberg, Member 65,103, submitted this photo of her “cloud mugs” which came out of the kiln early in April 2025.
She told us, “These ”cloud mugs” are my latest design. Thanks to Cloud Appreciation Society, the constantly changing sky became my inspiration. I look up at the clouds every day, feeling how beautiful this world is and feeling the connection to all the wonderful people I’ve never met who are doing the same in the different parts of the planet”.
Hannah Bellinger is a UK based artist who paints under the name “Art by Noir”
Frederick Ballet, Member 64,810, is an award winning and published Fine Art Photographer specializing in abstract seascapes. While his postings on Cloud Appreciation website are representational he loves creating abstract images of the natural world. Fred splits his time between NYC and Long Beach Island, NJ, his next solo show will be at Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea, NYC and will run March 18-April 12 with the opening reception March 22 from 3-6PM.

Doug MacBean sent us his painting entitled “Dofasco 2000 Trail in Hamilton”. It was sold through the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ontario in 2022 and is oil on canvas. He told us “I’ve been painting clouds for over 30 years and I feel I’m getting better”
Dolores B Mitchell has loved looking at the sky since childhood, when she would imagine walking around in splendid cities in the clouds. This is one of her cloud inspired paintings.
This piece is called “Coming Storm” and was painted using oils by Diana Howard, Member 41,003. She told us it’s of the Ste Victoire in Aix en Provence.
Debra Dolinski, member 6,561, is a talented sky watercolour artist and has been a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society for many years.

David Evans, Member 61,735, sent us a recent painting. He told us “This is a painting I made of a tremendous cloud which appeared suddenly over a beach in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada on a sunny day in 2018”.

Daryl Johnson, member 45193, is an artist based in New Orleans. This painting is called “Clouds Wrapping” 24 x 48″ oils on canvas and was inspired by how clouds can be so dynamic and seem to cause the earth to breath.

Clare Scott, member 39,730, created this plein air, pastel painting of a pyrocumulus cloud building from one of the largest wildfires (Cameron Peak Fire) in Colorado north of where she was painting.
