Postscript to my earlier comment – I think this would make for a great inclusion in the Society’s 2016 calendar. I have just bought and received the Society’s 2015 calender and highly pleased with it.

This gets 5* from me, for sure! I love the overall simplicity of the photo, its use of dramatic gold-like colouring of the foreground accentuated by the truly wonderful sombre clouds above. The radiating spokes of the rainbow are incredible. FANTASTIC!!! Well captured, Dennis. Great shot. You must be HIGHLY pleased to have photographed this remarkable vista!
