Superb picture, Pat. I always imagined K_H clouds far above but not so close to the surface. Accustomed to looking up to see the clouds I will have to start looking to the front to detect these .. :-)
I certainly go fully along with Adolfo’s comment about seeing this unusual cloud formation at ground level. Normally, one sees these clouds far higher. Highly unusual
Brill capture, Pat. Well done!

What a beautiful view, Paolo! The dramatic, forested hills appear to float above a sea of fog located in the lower mountain valley and tower above the town of Axalp, Switzerland. As the warm, lower mountain valley air rises, the fog will gradually disperse, a nice, sunny mid-autumn day will occur. From Rebecca Hill, Canberra, Australia
More than one!
Great picture Pablo! Looks like great golden chunks of molten lava or balloons about to fall from the sky! From Rebecca Hill, Canberra, Australia
This brings to mind, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?” this comes from a fairy tale.
Lovely shot, Modestino. Definitely mirror like. It must have been marvellous to witness.
I have rotated the image upside down and it is mirror like.
