Louise Morgan, Society member 28,857, contacted us following a recent Cloud-a-Day on the subject of the English Romantic landscape painters JMW Turner and John Constable were notorious rivals but who both loved painting clouds and enjoyed the challenge of painting rainbows. She told us “I’ve just been commissioned to paint a rainbow and have been researching them. I have not painted one before which is incredibly surprising as all I paint are clouds and skies. Your cloud a day is both inspiring and informative – here is my first attempt”
