Flynn, I think you caught a single curl in your second photo.  Always an exciting sighting.

Robert, your photos are definitely exciting.  I am fairly new to cloud spotting myself.  I would take a guess that your recent clouds maybe cirrus.  If you haven’t already purchased ” The Cloud Collector’s Handbook by Gavin, it is a great and constant recourse for me.  I bought my copy on Amazon for around $13.  The cloud library on this website is dandy too.  Keep them pictures coming.  You will meet some fun folks that are witty and knowledgeable.

So many nice pictures with a rainbow of colors.  Must be many ice crystals out there.  Some bold and some faint.

Hans, you are correct about the best place to watch a crescent moon.  They can be sneaky.  Your passer-by is a super shot of virga I believe.

Keelin, Beyond Recognition is got everything going for it.  That’s a keeper.

Michael, #231 is fun to figure out.  What type of cloud would you say?

Robert, a big welcome to you and your incredible photos.  Before I forget, you should consider sending your above photo to the gallery or cloud-a-day.  It is out of this world!!  Hope you are enjoying posting on the forums.  I love the forums for sharing and learning.  There is some humor too.

I need to give the “Back In Time” credit to my friend Peter Shea.  Peter and my husband had retirement backpack trip in the Wind River Range in Wyoming.  Needless to say the scenery was spectacular and Peter caught some beautiful pictures of their trip.  I felt this was too beautiful of a sunset to not share.  Thanks Peter
