Patricia L KeelinParticipant
Wow, Wow, Wow, Hans, Michael, Ruth!!!
I’ve only this photo from my archives to add today. Slightly tweaked, it’s taken on the look of a memory of when and where ’twas first seen.
That Was Then
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFrom delicate to robust, you’ve all been capturing the clouds ways that amaze! Thanks to all for sharing their skyfuls of wonder.
Coming Soon!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth. Your shy halo looks to be tickled by those trees. Do I hear a giggle?
Grated Iridescence
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMarvelous Moose, Ruth!
Just for fun, I flipped the birds and found this faerie hoping to make it home before her wings fall off.
It’s Been a Long Day
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a stunning collection of images here! So grateful to everyone for sharing such splendid views far beyond my horizons.
Morning Fog and Silver Sea
Patricia L KeelinParticipantIndeed, Ruth. A sassy, splashy season!
Duckies Landing on the Lake
Patricia L KeelinParticipantRuth, your Rainbow puts me in the mood for a scoop of sorbet. ;)
Flirty Halo
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Michael. Love the dancing chorus line of clouds you captured in #245—and the whole stage set of actors in #246.
Distant Moon
Patricia L KeelinParticipantBeautiful & Wonderful additions to the ever-captivating B&W series by the usual suspects.
And a warm welcome, Bill! Looking forward to seeing more of your photos. You obviously have the eye for dramatic composition — and hopefully a good raincoat!
Alien Volcanic Landscape
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAh Ruth, your moon shots never fail to leave me howling in joy. And it looks like that Spinning Top has wrung some iridescence out of the clouds.
Ariel, those playful sun dogs keep my eyes shifting back and forth waiting to see which side will catch that great luminescent ball. A splendid catch of iridescence!
Hans, what a dramatic portrait of Shadows and Rays! And thank you so much for the link to the atopics site—very helpful. Having had a look there, I’m thinking the photo below might show a faint portion of Circumscribed Halo?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth! I think you are correct with the identifications (though I’m not clear on the difference between a TA and an Upper TA?). It really was such a surprise. You also have a keen eye for iridescence—as well as for vases. ;) And I love the softness of your latest capture. It’s almost like those little twigs at the bottom of the image snagged them just for you. And did I read something about your love of dogs? Here are a couple who came out to play recently…
Playtime for the Pups
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Michael. Your AZ #1411 could be a view under the microscope—which just adds even more mystery to such fascinating amorphous sky productions.
String Section
Patricia L KeelinParticipantPeter, I couldn’t agree more with Ruth’s comment and suggestion. That is a phenomenal photo! Thank you so much for sharing it with us here.
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth. Your Coloring Book has all the pretty pastel shades one might associate with dyed eggs of the season. Yesterday (easter), this looked like something that could hold a few.
Easter Basket
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a dramatic start to Volume XIV! Thanks, Michael, for keeping your keen eyes on the wild skies there in AZ and sharing the vision. Your Mouth Full is an eye full of beauty, Ruth. And glad you weren’t gone with the wind in Blown Away, Hans!
Meanwhile, here in California…
