ParticipantThose HVs are such quick morphers, Ruth. But I like that bit that lingered for you. It’s like a little celestial comma, a reminder to pause and take a breath. It makes a nice follow-up to the fast-moving feel of the Ameba scene you caught above.
We’ve had rather quiet skies here lately. But a week or so ago, clouds passed through with some thunder and lightning. Alas only a little rain.
Lovely Clouds, Little Rain

ParticipantThank you, Laurence! Number 8 gets my vote for its sweet sense of serenity.

ParticipantMichael, I’d like to see your #128 covering an entire wall. Of course, it must have been even larger in real life. I can only imagine!

ParticipantAlways lovely to see the Lennies, Michael and Ruth. So smooth and calm.
Let’s Dance!

ParticipantI can see where your little Jumping Fish broke right through the sea of sky, Ruth.
And nice architecture in your pagoda, Richard.

ParticipantMichael, I keep scrolling up to have another look at @198. It is such a beauty!
And wow, Richard! Are you sure that wasn’t a giant whale passing by? Love the dramatic scene you’ve captured in Lighthouse Eruptions!
AfterSplash

ParticipantLove the gestural look in #127, Michael. A well-choreographed dance you’ve captured there!
About To Be Torn Asunder

ParticipantGreat sense of depth in the latest posts from everyone above. The sky’s been a bit quiet here lately. Had to look back a couple of weeks ago to find this one. As I recall, there was a skyful of action with clouds literally consuming each other.
Room For One More Bite

ParticipantSalil, your Red Dragon is mesmerizing! You have captured him well and in dramatic fashion.
And Ruth, your Gentle Elephant is just so sweet, sailing softly there on a little cloud. Could that have been his wish? What would you wish if a genie appeared?

ParticipantA great variety in recent posts from all. Especially love the wispiness in White Stripes, Hans. That sliver of brightness in Just A Splash, Ruth. And the skyful that feels like a celebration in #124, Michael.
Tendrils

ParticipantLove the crispness and composition you’re achieving in your photos, Richard. And the long, evocative (and as Hans noted, rather poetic) titles as well.
A Lot Of Cloud indeed, Hans. In fact, I almost missed that subtle opening in the upper right corner. Once seen, it has a curiously magnetic draw.
I feel the same pull to explore in your Track and Field photo, Ruth. Hope this one fits…
Puzzle Piece

ParticipantCan’t help but see a funny-faced creature emerging in #196, Michael. Something rather charming in his looks.
Perhaps he has the kind of thumb that would make a fine print like you’ve captured, Ruth.
And a wonderful rough contour in Outlines, Hans. Elemental and aesthetic!

ParticipantRoadrunner better keep running, Hans. Looks like Wiley Coyote is hot on his trail with a little help from… could that be Woodstock?!?
He went that-a-way!

ParticipantA beautiful launch for Volume V, Hans and Ruth! I think this calls for a bit of the bubbly…
Effervescent Apparition

ParticipantOn a warm day, I’ve gone back to view your Popsicle, Ruth. Thanks for the refreshing treat! Wasn’t sure it would still be there with that mystery animal about to devour it. And Barely There might be subtle, but still brings a smile. Also want to say WOW! on your double rainbow in the Gallery today — Congratulations! I had a feeling that was yours even before spotting the credit. It has your signature style.
And so glad you enjoyed the kiddie matinee, Hans! If the show was anything like your Looking Into The Sun, I’d stay for another viewing. It is mesmerizing.
Heading back to the archives again for a photo I’d cropped differently and posted to the B&W topic awhile back. Here it is with the color that caught my eye.
