Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow, Michael, you’ve captured the feeling of absolute elation! And Hans, that crisp golden glow is outstanding. I would like to hike along that illuminated ridge.
Just a bit of outline in the image below — a work in progress.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantAfterwards is like the memory of one my favorite dreams, Hans. It’s when the sand and waves of the sea begin to dissolve and I wake slowly in their wake.
In the image below, it’s like earlier in the dream when the waves trickle down lichen covered rocks on the shore.

Before
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHiccough! was amusing and so well-titled, Hans, I just couldn’t resist a teasing reply. And I like to see how the passage of time is reflected in the Aging of Contrails. It is something to contemplate, nest-ce pas?
Thinking About It**with a dash of seasoning
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a grand finale we had to Sunrise/Sunset II with fantastic colors from Michael, George and Hans. Still feeling the warmth of those spectacular images. Now Michael has launched us again with no less a splash of color and awe.
George, I love these hot copper colors you’ve captured! And Hans’s cool waves of Asperitas follow just in time! The mention of lava sent me spelunking for this one.
Pele’s Promise
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a fantastic example of chiaroscuro, Hans. Beauty + mystery!
We are having much needed rain here today and everyone is happy. Well, everyone except the wild dancing Rain Goddess, whose necklace has broken and sent her pearls flying. I was just in time to catch sight of them through a nearby window.
Rain Goddess Pearls
Patricia L KeelinParticipantFar out, Hans! And a beautiful find in your archives. And Michael, I love the subtle vibrations in your Arizona B&W #55, and #65 positively animates!

Patricia L KeelinParticipantFantastic images, George and Hans! Interesting to notice how the eye is drawn to the light, no matter how thin the line or the volume of darkness that it outlines.

Patricia L KeelinParticipant
Gigggle!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantShall We Start A Conga Line?

Patricia L KeelinParticipantGreat Party In The Sky, Michael. Let’s pop some champagne! It will go well with Hans’s Candy Sticks.
Pop!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWell, I for one am not surprised at all, Michael. From what we’ve seen of your keen eye and patience, I’d say you’re not only a cloud spotter par excellence, but a cloud whisperer as well.
And thank you epshultz for the wonder of wonders you launched this thread with. It’s a beauty!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWalking backwards through the recent posts here, love that ZZZ path you found, Hans. Nothing to snooZe on, that’s for sure! And those amazing Spare Ribs, stripped clean, it looks like.
What a wild dance Angelic Contrail is doing, Roger! It’s got rhythm to spare.
And such softness in Weeping Contrail, Hans. Misty is utterly fantastic.
I’d say you two are keeping A Good Eye on those contrails.

Patricia L KeelinParticipantGreat captures of fleeting moments in the images above! Here is something that sailed through at a seemingly slower pace.
Ghost Ship
Patricia L KeelinParticipantCooler than cool, you two! Great textures and depth, also some impressionistic qualities which come alive so well in B&W. Adding to the duplicatus collection…

Patricia L KeelinParticipantExquisite, Hans, so delicate!
