I think you are right Marie, Stratocumulus undulatus. Nice one!

Just a little bit of the reds in your last two, Michael. They combine very well with the blues.

Great recovery from the dive, Keelin. It is just afterwards that Ruth throw out a chain to draw you back (a nice one!). I love #260 Michael, quite a mysterious dust nebula.

No noctilucent yet, since I posted one (above) from 2021. Patience is a valuable thing.

Open to Interpretation is very funny, Keelin. I could not decide whether it is best to leave it open or not, but I just can’t resist to share one interpretation, with the intention to leave it open for more interpretations. I see someone desperately looking for his glasses to find out what we all see.

Here is just a little experiment with iridescence from the archives.

    Continuing The Blues

I think you spotted a great example of Cirrus uncinus Martin. So no fluctus, nor virga. It is the kind of cirrus that appears as a line with a tuft on one side. Without the tufts it would be Cirrus fibratus. The nice thing here is that they are so neatly arranged on one line from the observer’s view.

    A very nice spotting!

Ah! The Rubin’s face/vase gave me the clue, Keelin. Billy is there indeed. You have a keen eye to spot our old friend even in a figure or ground puzzle. Very clever and funny too!

A Loose Thread and a Fan Of Contrails had too long to wait for a follow-up. Then there was this strange message in the sky.

Great start of this new volume Michael. With more bold colors, Ruth. Number #103 took me back to some spottings a few years ago.

It is difficult to be sure of, Pamela. Anyway, you spotted a very impressive storm system. Did any tuba develop? In that case it is likely.

I understand Ruth. More moderate weather is becoming rare unfortunately.

You spotted a great B&W clos-up of intortus, Michael. Keelin spotted it even with Offspring😊. Love the interrupted radiatus, Ruth.

Great ones above. I love #1439 and # 1440, Michael. Deep and rich like Ruth commented. Love your  pileus and Melon Balls too, Ruth. And wow what an energy seen from above, Bill. Must be great to be up there.

Last Sunday there were lots of asperitas skies in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, as harbingers for wet and wild.
