Hans StockerParticipantGreat Bridge Over The River Sky, Keelin. Funny and clever title. Also a great contrail – in more than one way – in Arizona Contrail #501. All Coming Through like Ruth states.

Let’s Go! We Have To Go Straight Into Its Mouth
Hans StockerParticipantThank you for a wonderful dotted launch for Volume X with Arizona Color #101.

Footsteps In The Snow
Hans StockerParticipantThanks for sharing these links Rob.
Btw: I like to feed the left and the right side of the brain as well. Beauty flourishes with explanation and a nice explanation is beauty itself.
Hans StockerParticipantGreat Puff Ruth, and Keelin spotted his marvelous Pelt in close-up. A cross hatch pattern in teh words from Michael. In #718 it seem we are looking in the depth of Puff’s mouth.

Threesome
Hans StockerParticipantGreat one to start with Michael and a curious extraterrestrial scenery by Keelin. I love them both.

Purples
Hans StockerParticipantVery nice capture Ruth. I prefer to think it is a yes for asperitas and I am open for and curious as well for different opinions.
I often check the gallery when I doubt and to my surprise I found something that looks like what you spotted in the most recent example of asperitas in the gallery: dissipating asperitas.
I suppose you know how to search in the gallery? If not: click on the icon just left from your avatar in the main menu and you will find any cloud type, phenomenon, etc. to select (more than one criterion can be chosen) and you will find your selection. Nice way to look for more rare phenomena or combinations btw.
Hans StockerParticipantThat is a lovely decorated sky Keelin in Luminario. Lots of lanterns floating by. I just had to scroll back to your Snagged too and the breathtaking #712 by Michael not to mention Yellow Belly and dried Apricots by Ruth and Color Galore by Gregory.

Color Glimpse
Hans StockerParticipantYes wild physics indeed Michael. The changes are often too fast when you don’t have your camera at hand. Nice pileus.
The trees seem to climb your Cloud Walls Keelin. Nice view.

Another Wall
Hans StockerParticipantVery funny Ruth, your Cloud Eater. The fish George spotted seems to look in amazement.
Great colors in your dramatic cloudscape with storm clouds Steve. I like the contrast.

Opening
Hans StockerParticipantDoes it Still Itch is very funny and a great composition altogether Keelin. The more after I spotted the puppy also.
Great firm brushstrokes in #717 Michael.
Ruth, your It’s The Water works fantastically well in B&W. Great capture.

Fleeing Moon
Hans StockerParticipantBest wishes to you too Laurence and what a wonder indeed is this phoenix to start a new year with.
Hans
Hans StockerParticipantGreat composition in #935 Michael. It surely looks like an exotic fish setting up its crest.

Hans StockerParticipant
A segment of a redbow
Hans StockerParticipantBest wishes to all! May lots of optical phenomena and clouds be on your path.
Anyway great halos Michael and Keelin.
To Les:
Thank you for sharing the information of the reissue of the book by Greenler. I am very interested. It is also great to read how your enthusiasm for halos was started. I love your unsurpassed website!
Hans StockerParticipantThank you Gregory! And btw I just tried something on the Optical Phenomena thread but could not yet post what I wanted. I have to be patient. Meanwhile I see a lot of great posts by you like Land of Cloud and Sky.
