Hans StockerParticipantNice shadow Ruth. The perspective is always a bit deceptive knowing that the shadow must be cast on a lower layer of cloud.
Here is one that would have seriously alarmed the Crow (Keelin and Michael will understand). It shows disturbing acitvity of chimtrail. It must be the season.

Alarming
Hans StockerParticipantHula Lesson give a real icy impression Keelin , as cold as An Aftrenoon Drive by Ruth. Brrrr. I love the composition in #125 Michael. Great capture.

Spiky
Hans StockerParticipantWow, Floral Impression is a fantastic composition, Keelin. Floral indeed, but I also see a bird in it, flying straight up, wings forward and a long tail beneath. Intriguing.
Michael’s #186 is a great impression of a field of high grass gently bending in the wind. The wind that shakes The Barley in the next picture of Keelin. Great sequence. Ever heard the “sad” song about John Barleycorn?

It’s Eating Something
Hans StockerParticipantGiving Up The Ghost is a lovely capture Keelin. And from Ruth I love It Is Wine In the Water. Great title as well. #719 and #720 by Michael have his signature for sure. I love them all.

Just Sunset Colors
Hans StockerParticipantGreat views you have on Seattle and surroundings from up above, Donatella. You are privileged. I love the sea view and also the sea of stratus from Cascade Mountains.
And Just Today is as Light and Airy as the former one, Ruth. There we see Cascade Mountains from far. Great blues.
You two give us a nice view of Oregon.

Dunescape
Hans StockerParticipantNice place for a lakefront property Ruth!

Undecisive Pilot?
Hans StockerParticipantThe Boy Who Cried Fish is fanastic Keelin and the stiry as well. Love it. Now I feel dizzy and tossed by the winds of whimsey. Don’t know why.

Approaching Snow
Hans StockerParticipantLost In Transformation is a very clever one Keelin and beautiful as well. Glacier National Park is majestic Ruth and I like the taste of your Cauliflower. I love the fine texture in #183 Michael.

Accumulating Diversity
Hans StockerParticipantThank you Gregory. I think Michael’s #123 is where you end down under after Keelin’s Plunge. It could also been after a dive in the cool blue waves of #122. I am a bit Hooked to this thread.

Just Fluffy
Hans StockerParticipantOops I did not see the count of the former Volume, Michael. The number is growing fast but you made a great start for Volume XVIII with your delicate duplicatus in #181. I hope this Volume will lead us to a place like Some Distant Shore by Keelin. Nevertheless Half And Half by Ruth shows a nice alternative. But most of all I love the newly started journey.

Let It Roll

Leaving At Sunset

Iridescence In Close-up
Hans StockerParticipantJulia, this is a difficult one in my opinion.
At the bottom of the first one I see cirrus with its large horizontal streaks. they are also on the second one bottom right. About this I am arther sure.
Initially I thought I saw mainly altocumulus on the first picture but taking the cirrus as reference for the height of the spotted clouds cirrocumulus might fit better and / or cirrus spissatus.
On the second one there is this lenticular patch bottom left: cirrocumulus lenticularis in my opinion.
So in the end I like to think they are all on the same level and then I tend to Cirrocumulus, Cirrus spissatus and Cirrocumulus lenticularis. This is my attempt but I look forward for different opinions.
And above all very nice eye-catching swirls indeed.
Hans StockerParticipantYes start ‘er up – there is a song that comes to mind:) – and see what happens, Keelin. Great start with Moonlit Path (2017) / Foggy, Foggy Night (2021)!
I see a startled face of a fluffy dog in #738 Michael. Love it.
Skeleton Birds
Hans StockerParticipantAll very comforting: Lullaby Of Light by Keelin, the fluffy carpet in #119 by Michael and Soft And Warm by Ruth. It is such a lovely thought about the billowing curtains on a gentle breeze, Keelin.
