You both spotted some very nice granular cirrocumulus above Michael and Keelin. Quite applicable to describe it as a sky-filled murmuration, Keelin.

Mending Some Socks needs a delicate needle and it also show some very nice delicate colors Ruth.
The sketch lines that in ‘In The Neighborhood’ shows are marvelous Keelin. Did you realize these are three distrails and one contrail? That makes a contrail count of -2. We did not have that one before, so congrats with that one! Love it.

I just scrolled back in this thread and then I encountered Dust To Dust by Keelin. I didn’t mention it before but that one is magical. Might that one be also one of your illusions Keelin?

I understand you suspect it to be KH, but I have doubts Julia. Best case it has been KH where the crests don’t show anymore. In any case you spotted a situation in the sky where you might find KH. Anyway a nice sunset.
The last ones of you two are really engrossing illusions. In particular I love Keeping Track Of The days by Keelin and Arizona B&W #722 as well. I always will keep track of this thread.

Thanks Michael for answering my question and non-intended Keelin too. Here we are on the good old Forum and I love it. Like I said, I was just curious.
New between the cloudscapes in this thread is the soundscape Keelin posted: One Note Wall Of Sound, a great funny find and ingenious too. The creativity on the Forum is always surprising.
High And low
That is really fun indeed Keelin to play with color inversion. The white tree branches make it quite spooky. Even apocalyptic. Nice to see the original too of this surprising result.
Arizona Color #106 is a great composition Michael. And I can see the crawling creature Keelin spotted in your #105. It must have been captured from under water imo.

I am still impressed by the capture of the plane by Donatella with the clouds on its wings and the explanation by Les Cowley as well.
No, unfortunately is was no nacreous in the Tongue I posted Keelin although it has similarities. Nacreous is very rare to observe over here in the Netherlands. Nevertheless iridescence is equally beautiful and always a surprise on a afternoon walk (a very beautiful one!) also when it is just a Weak Showing (Ruth) and a wheel in the sky is even more surprising (Gregory) not to mention your CZA. Love the third picture of your series above.
