Hans StockerParticipantThanks George, but a subsun must be under the horizon and should be pure white as far as I know.
Hans StockerParticipantWhat delicate colors Michael in Arizona sunset #11.
Then two crescent moons in top of a tree. Bonusmoons! And just in time George!

Hans StockerParticipantCounted, recounted, re-recounted and now decided to put this one forward for #12. Any doubts or comments?

Control Game #12
Hans StockerParticipantWonderful image Keelin. Colors lost in the blues.
Not wanting to clever about it, but both are sundogs I think. Irisdescence or sundog, the colors of both are always toes awiggling (so to speak).

Hans StockerParticipantThe KH are baffling Laurence. Thanks for sharing.
Hans StockerParticipantWhat a beauty Keelin! The title fits also perfectly. Arctic abstract austerity…..
Can’t compete with this one.
Hans StockerParticipant
Hummingbird
Hans StockerParticipantNice crepesculars, Michael. …. you crazy diamond..
And a very subtle surprise Keelin.

Vault
Hans StockerParticipantSepticemia enlightened by crepasculars, fading into Roadside Winter Blues. Are those winter blues also possible in Napa, Keelin? Great play of light!

Porcupine
Hans StockerParticipantDifficult indeed. It is getting harder and harder already. The pictures I have in score took me quite some time to make counts, recounts and re-recounts. Often ending differently. Still a lot to hunt for, waiting for the right circumstances.
But I want to say yes to your #10 Alec!
Also because I have this candidate (and one other if rejected) for #11.

Contrail Game #11
Hans StockerParticipantThese pictures were really worth the suffering guys! What colour! And very funny too.
The accompanying stories make me remember the very pleasant circumstances under which I made this one from a terrace watching the sun set, in pleasant company, with good drinks and some delicate finger food……Ahhh…

Hans StockerParticipantAll the better. This is a relieve. I did not have this knowledge of Crow until now, Alec. And now I see the picture here under in a different way. I confused it in my ignorance with the sparkling of champagne bubbles in one the first B&W threads. Of all! I now suspect the bubbles sparkle as such as a result of the gamma radiation you mentioned having their mutating ways on the spores. I seem to have caught it in the act.

Hans StockerParticipantFor some reason count Olaf from the film “Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events” comes to mind. Everything for art!
Full moon and captured in the cold night in the middle of the night.

But what the hell makes a full moon secure its presence in a topic about sunrises and sunsets?
Hans StockerParticipantThank you Donna. The fun comes from everyone contributing all these wonderful pictures.
Hans StockerParticipantThanks Michael, as I like your Duplicatus #31.
The powertower does very well in B&W together with the 22 degrees halo, Alec.
