Thanks for asking and we are all well. The typhoon reduced from the strongest Typhoon in the 50 years to a tropical strom in the last minute, and it only brings heavy rain fall instead of strong wind damage. The cities in the plain are all right, but the small towns in the mountain area are flooded heavily.

Unlike the hurricane, China has a lot of small to midium hills around the coastal line, and when the tropical storm comes inland, the hills greatlly reduce the power of the Typhoon and reduce the damage. Besides, our area has been well prepared for the heavy rain for centries, it also reduce the damage.
The government has announced to make preparation against the possible damage yesterday. It should be fine for us.

By the way, it is the best period of time to observe and enjoy the cloud during the Typhoon season.

As the forum goes on, there always be new comers to the CAS and if the old picture is deleted, they will not be able to see the pictures which was shared long ago. Flickr is a good choise for me as I have been using it to share pictures in a lot of forums.

It is so nice to find this society through a BBC documentry, and it is my pleasure to be able to share beautiful pictures with cloud lovers.
There are two major places where I take my most city pictures, you are correct with the storm cloud and the sunset pictures, there are taken from my office which is an 18 floor building, and my office window is facing the west. There are a few other pictures taken from my home, which is an appartment building of 11 floors. My home is facing east.
