      Sprites are extremely rare and damn hard to photograph!

      Released today (25th February) comes this remarkable image of Red Sprites over Australia

      The image is accompanied by a short concise explanation about the Sprites and how they occur.  They merit a lot more research and understanding.

      I’ve never seen such a thing or event like this.  One day perhaps before I “peg out”.
