“Cloudtastic” by Ryoma Corrin Tachibana

Ryoma’s mum, Alex, recently sent us this wonderful poem, written by her son, which describes what he sees when he’s cloudspotting…

Cloudtastic

Clouds, how they blend into
fossilized-like creature shapes.
Floating in the deep blue sky,
dinosaurs and crocodile heads,
owl’s wings or beaks blend
into shapes like no others.
Or make new creatures,
as soft as snow or cotton wool.
They lie in the sky.
Waiting to be born.
