Brazilian Cloud Observatory

Cloud Observatory in Brazil

José Roberto Vasconcelos, CAS member No. 17,481 from Natal, Brazil recently told us that the ‘Clouds Observatory’ in Brazil was finally open.

It is located in Natal City Park, a public place with entrance and parking free. The observatory will be another attraction for the park and also an invitation for nature enthusiasts keep looking up!

Images taken by Ian Loxley, the Photo Gallery Editor for the Cloud Appreciation Society and Juergen K Klimpke (member 22,868), were used on the information board for the observatory.

    Congratulations, José Roberto !
I’m Roberval and member n.º 24490 of CAS. I live in Florianópolis an also love clouds. I’ve been taken more pictures of clouds since I’ve read the book from Gavin and got the pleasure to be associated with CAS. Let’s see if one of these days I get to go to Natal and have the opportunity to meet you there.

    Sincerely,
    abraço,

    Roberval
