Altocumulus radiatus indicates instability at mid-atmospheric levels and often signaling approaching stormy weather. This was true in this case as Bernhard indicated that it rained only two hours later, near the English Garden, Munich, Germany.

I see clouds like this all the time up here in the Sierra’s, but you really captured them quite nicely Karen. I can’t even explain, but it is just great big fun when I see clouds such as these….. Thanks for sharing Karen….
