  4. quigley says:

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. It was taken two weeks before Christmas (last year) and I was a bit disappointed that the star wasn’t lit. I made a nice holiday card from it, also.

  5. susie NZ says:

I also think this makes for a lovely Christmas shot – Merry Christmas to all you cloud appreciaters!

  6. Toltec says:

Great composition! Too bad the Christmas star on the top of the tower was not lit.

  7. Anonymous says:

wow that is deep…but WOW!!! just an amazing shot…thanks for sharing this Jim….

  8. Jill D Mabbott avatar Granny Weatherwitch says:

I love it too! You could almost think of the moon as the eye of God/Goddess looking at the world and the cloud as the deity’s boiling anger at the destructive antics of humankind – or is that too deep ? Whatever you think of that thought, this is one of the most unusual cloud photos I have seen, and one of the most enjoyable. Clouds are amazing, but often much more amazing when they are seen in context with the Earth and not just photgraphed as clouds alone.

  9. Tim Brunt says:

This is a frankly breathtaking shot – beautiful! I love it!
