Bryan Hightower says: I need to correct something, I took this picture back in September of 2018, so it is actually an early fall day in Nevada. There was still a small amount of snow from winter on the top of Mt. Rose and as a side note, Mt. Rose had the most snow fall in the lower 48 last year and some of it stayed around until the winter this year.

This photo appeals to me much indeed.
I like the deep and atmospheric broody, moody lighting and the heavy sense of gravitas contained in the clouds as they roll casting forth ever changing light and shadow across an unforgiving landscape.
