  1. I see a big – gigantic – bird with a nice pointed beak looking almost towards the camera, with the wings wide open, all over the photo, horizontally. Am I crazy??? ;-)

    I have looked at this photo many times as it encaptivates my imagination. If you look above the cluster of chimney stacks in the middle of the image, you can see (what I believe to be) a cavaliers face, with a beard and wearing a hat. Would anybody agree? Garys father, John

    Yes I think you may be right. RHS of photo top surface of first layer of alto stratus above main bank of low cloud
