A low rainbow over Garelochhead, Scotland. Rainbows look low like this when the sun (shining from behind) is higher above the horizon.

‘A slice of sky’ Taken from the Ochil hills looking over to Grange Mouth in Scotland. Can anyone spot some Kelvin-Helmholtz wave clouds in the background, or is it me???

I see a big – gigantic – bird with a nice pointed beak looking almost towards the camera, with the wings wide open, all over the photo, horizontally. Am I crazy??? ;-)

I have looked at this photo many times as it encaptivates my imagination. If you look above the cluster of chimney stacks in the middle of the image, you can see (what I believe to be) a cavaliers face, with a beard and wearing a hat. Would anybody agree? Garys father, John

Given your previous low rainbow image (https://cloudappreciationsociety.org/gallery/photo/photo-n-3135-2) you are proving to be an expert low-bow spotter!
Great shot son wish we where there with you both …….
