Your lovely photo brings to mind a poem by poet, Sir John Betjeman, where he says, “Flashing fine, a sunset fire” when observing a sunset’s fading light on an old house with lead set glass windows. That said, I realise your photo is of a sunrise, not sunset.
Yeah No This is fab.
Great description and capture.
A pink one! I love these.
Eloquently elegant! Thanks be, this photo was imaged in monochrome. Wonderful shot, Stephen! I liken your photo to those marvellous photos submitted by member, Paul Martini, who excels in monochrome photography.
Paul, you have a bit of competion here, me thinks…
Hi Luis, thank you for a lovely restful and contemplative photo which, to me, is the stuff a good holiday is made of.
i think it’s a cirrus vertebratus cloud, much more special than a contrail!
Yes I agree…IanL..
A centipede or heery bone or maybe a very fine feather?!? Well spotted, Nicholas. A highly unusual cloud that makes one watch to see how it develops.
coo… angelic shot in the arm there
Fair and fine hair of a maiden – and a pleasure to comb!
